Is a single component bitumen modified polyurethane based liquid waterproofing material. It is cured with moisture in the air. The product forms a quite elastic and durable film with superior adhering to different surfaces. It has excellent mechanical and chemical characterizes proving high tension, tearing and wearing resistance. The product is very effective in water vapor transmission and it give a film which is capable to breath and prevent accumulation of humidity on the lower layer. It is capable of bridging shrinkage cracks because of its elasticity. Product only contains pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin and special inorganic admixture and it is ready to use. The product is freeze resistance and fast curing and it is highly adhesive to almost all types of surfaces coated or uncoated.
Usage areas:
It used as waterproofing for foundations, roofs verandas and balconies (providing that it is closed), wet floors, and it can be used as horizontally and vertically insulation material in high crack bridging characteristics. Also it can be used as waterproofıng materıal over cement based lower layers and in very humıd closed areas and under bathroom tiles and over asphalt bitumen seals.
Application Details:
On Concrete, Wooden and Metal Surfaces: Application surfaces must be clean and dry. Loose materials must be removed and parts in disrepair must be repaired. First 1 mm or wider cracks must be filled with the material; surface application must be carried out after the filling process.All pointed ends and corners on the area of application must be rounded.Surfaces roughening should be performed on extremely impermeable (High resistance class) concrete and curtain walls in order to increase adherence.
Maintenance (old Concrete): Remove all grease, oil, chemicals and other impurities by detergent washing. Remove old peeling paint layer by grinding, milling or vacuum grit blasting. Choose the method best suited for the premises. Clean out pot-holes removing all loose friable material. Open cracks with e.g. an abrasive tool. Remove loose material and dust.
Application prohibitions:
- Newly applied material should not be exposed to rain and frost for 24 hours.
- It should not be used in rainy and fog weather under + 5 ° C.
- Coated surfaces should be protected from moisture for 24 hours after application. Moisture may whiten the surface or/and make it sticky. It may also disturb hardening. Faded or sticky layers in parts of the surface should be removed by grinding or milling and laid again.
- Use only where application and drying can proceed at temperatures above: 10°C/50°F. The temperature of paint itself should be 15°C/59°F or above. Apply only on a dry and clean surface with a Temperature above the dew point to avoid condensation. In confined spaces provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
