Walls of Church
Fast Solution
It is known that some surfaces must be kept as original, where it is not possible to paint the surface or cover with ceramic or other coatings, we use AQUATIC SHIELD or AQUATIC SHIELD SB on the surface as water repellent, this for the walls for the Church these are the steps;
- We brushed the surface with metal brush, this is to maintain a smooth surface and to get rid of particles on the bricks.
- Second step is the application of the AQUATIC SHIELD with an airless spray, (brush or roller could be used as well) we preferred airless spray because the total area was big and we were afraid of a potential early rain, so we spped up the process.
PRODUCT USED
Aquatic Shield: is a water-based water-repellent sealer specifically designed for concrete, brick, natural stone and masonry. Aquatic Shield works better and lasts much longer than conventional sealers because it chemically reacts with the substrate to form an insoluble, water-repellent barrier. This barrier is within the surface so it cannot wear away, fade, yellow, crack or peel. The finished application enhances the surface’s natural color still allowing breath-ability.
